ADA Compliance
The Alameda County Public Works Agency (ACPWA) adopted an ADA Transition Plan in 2008. Pedestrian access corridors were surveyed and sidewalk and curb ramp improvement needs were identified. ACPWA continues to implement needed improvements and address barriers to pedestrian access in connection with its street improvement projects. You can view the ADA Transition Plan here:
