The Alameda County Public Works Agency maintains many infrastructure assets, including but not limited to:

93 traffic signals

473.6 centerline miles of roadway

The Alameda County Public Works Agency also issues 4,500 building permits each year, in addition to performing building inspections, reviewing land development projects, and implementing projects and services to protect and improve the quality of life in Alameda County.
