The Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (DISTRICT) a State of California Special District, requires professional archaeological, paleontological, and historical resources investigations services as required for environmental review of Alameda County Public Works Agency (AGENCY) and Alameda County Flood Control District (DISTRICT) capital project design and construction, and for other AGENCY and DISTRICT activities as may be needed to meet federal and state environmental regulations. 

Services required may include: conducting record searches and literature reviews; archaeological field reconnaissance; site recording; follow-up investigations and excavations; construction site monitoring; coordination with local Native American tribes; historical research; architectural evaluations and historical documentation; and other such related work as CONSULTANT is professionally qualified to perform.  Use of subcontractors is subject to pre-approval by DISTRICT.
