Introduction

Alameda County Public Works Agency is responsible for the maintenance and operation of public infrastructure with a focus on extending the lifecycle of infrastructure in a sustainable and cost effective manner.  Specifically, the Agency is responsible for the maintenance of transportation infrastructure including county roads, bridges, traffic signals and streetlights, and flood control infrastructure including creeks and channels, storm drains, and  pump stations.
