Meekland Avenue

Project Overview

The Meekland Avenue Corridor Improvement Project extends from E. Lewelling Blvd to Blossom Way the Cherryland community of Unincorporated Alameda County.   The Project constructs sidewalk and bike lanes along Meekland Ave along with high visibility crosswalks and bulb-outs.  The project will also replace the existing bridge over San Lorenzo Creek in order to accommodate the above pedestrian and bike facilities.   When completed, students from Colonial Acres Elementary School and residents within the Cherryland community will enjoy a safe and accessible roadway.
