Status of Unincorporated Alameda County Roads (3/17/2017 10:00 a.m.)

Current status of other County-maintained roads is as follows:

  • Palomares Road, Castro Valley, is reduced to one lane of traffic at mile marker 8.73.  Safety devices and traffic control measures are in place.
  • Redwood Road, Castro Valley, is reduced to one lane of traffic at mile marker 7.38 due to a shoulder washout.  Safety devices and traffic control measures are in place.
  • Koopman Road, Sunol, is reduced to one lane of traffic at mile marker 0.23 following a mudslide.  Safety devices are in place.  
  • Foothill Road, Sunol, is reduced to one lane of traffic at mile marker 6.87 following storm-related damage to the roadway.  Safety devices and traffic control measures are in place.
  • Collier Canyon Road, Livermore, is reduced to one lane of traffic at mile marker 4.98 due to a shoulder slip-out.  Safety devices and traffic control measures are in place.

Please avoid these areas, if possible.  If you must travel on any of these roadways, please proceed with caution.

  
All other roadways in unincorporated Alameda County remain open at this time.
