Landscape Clean Up
The Alameda County Public Works Agency is responsible for the design and upkeep of landscaping on medians and certain sections of roadway throughout the unincorporated areas of the county. Our ecologically appropriate landscape practices incorporate the use of mulch as well as responsible practice of watering methods such as using drip irrigation and deep watering in order to reduce runoff and the waste of water. We maintain Bay Friendly practices and adherence to the Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance (WELO). Regular maintenance of these areas also includes keeping them free from debris and refuse.
