
About the Safe Routes to School Program
The Public Works Agency conducted an Alameda County Safe Routes to School (SR2S) Assessment for 35 schools in the unincorporated areas of Alameda County. The SR2S Project includes recommendations to reduce the number of pedestrian and bicycle injuries and fatalities at all elementary, middle and high schools located within the unincorporated areas of Alameda County.
