Patterson Pass Road Safety Study

Patterson Pass Road is a rural arterial roadway connecting Alameda County and San Joaquin County. The Alameda County Public Works Agency (County) conducted a study to identify the roadway safety needs on Patterson Pass Road, from Greenville Road to the Alameda/San Joaquin County Line.  The primary goals of the study were to identify and prioritize needed safety improvements and to optimize our ability to secure limited funding available for safety improvements.

The Patterson Pass Road Safety Study takes account the safety needs of roadway users, including preserving the environment and the roadway's rural character, natural waterways and land, improving traffic safety, and promoting livability and multi-modal integration.

The Study has been finalized and is posted below.  A hard copy of the final Patterson Pass Road Safety Study will be available at the Livermore Library, Resource Desk, 1188 South Livermore Avenue, Livermore.
