Sidewalk Improvement Project from Castro Valley Blvd. to Miramar Avenue
Significant sidewalk improvements will be made on Stanton Avenue from Castro Valley Boulevard to Miramar Avenue, which serves Stanton Elementary school and the Eden Medical Center. It is envisioned that this Safe Routes to Schools project will improve connectivity for roadway users and improve Storm Water Quality.
Construction on the Stanton Avenue Project is scheduled to start this Fall.

The Stanton Avenue project will close gaps in sidewalks. A new concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk will be constructed on Stanton Avenue where none exist. Existing curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveways, walkway and driveway conforms will be replaced.
