Project Overview
The D Street Sidewalk Improvement Project is located from the Hayward City Limit to Machado Court. Concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks will be constructed in areas where no sidewalks exist. The project will include the establishment of Class II bicycle lanes along D Street in both directions. The project follows the Safe Routes to School Plan for Unincorporated Areas and the Alameda County Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan for Unincorporated Areas.
