Proctor Road Sidewalk Improvement

Project Overview

The Proctor Road Sidewalk Improvement Project is located on Proctor Road from Walnut Road to Camino Alta Mira in Castro Valley. The project will provide infill and replacement sidewalks on both sides of Proctor Road and curb ramp upgrades at the corners of intersections within the limits described. The goal of the project is to provide a continuous ADA path of travel on both sides of Proctor Road within the limits described. Traffic control measures and BPMs will be included in the project to protect the environment as well as utility relocations.

This project will be constructed in two separate phases. Phase 1 will be Proctor Road East, which is on Proctor Road east of Redwood Road. Phase 2 will be Proctor Road West, which is west of Redwood Road to Walnut Road.
