Project Overview
This highway safety improvement project will increase visibility of traffic signals for drivers and increase driver awareness of non-motorized users accessing intersection crosswalks at 5 intersections in Unincorporated Alameda County, namely Lake Chabot Road and Castro Valley Boulevard, Redwood Road and Castro Valley Boulevard, Lessley Avenue and Redwood Road, Grove Way and Redwood Road, and Crow Canyon Road and East Castro Valley Boulevard. The proposed improvements target safety improvements for all road users during both daytime and nighttime conditions.
