Project Overview
The Intersection Improvements at Norbridge Avenue and Strobridge Avenue is located in the unincorporated Castro Valley Area in Alameda County between Castro Valley Boulevard and Interstate 580. This project includes various infrastructure improvements to enhance traffic circulation and regional connectivity in the area.
Project Features
- Conversion of existing one-way segments of Norbridge Avenue and Strobridge Avenue to two-way travel
- Installation of bike lanes on Norbridge Avenue
- Installation and modification of traffic signal systems
- Implementation of stormwater treatment measures
- Modification and new construction of curb, gutter, sidewalks and raised medians.
- Installation and upgrade of pedestrian curb ramps
- Installation of high visibility crosswalks
