Project Overview
The Ettie Street Pump Station is located on 3455 Ettie Street Oakland. Originally built in 1954 and seismically retrofitted in 1999, the pump station underwent a structural assessment in 2021, which identified areas in need of rehabilitation. Phase I improvements were completed in summer 2023, and Phase II is scheduled for summer 2025. This phase will focus on structural repairs, system upgrades, and safety improvements to extend the facility’s service life. The project will enhance the structural stability and efficiency of the pump station, ensuring its long-term reliability. The project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
