San Lorenzo Creek CONCRETE SIDE SLOPE AND EXPANSION JOINT REPAIRS IN SAN LORENZO

ZONE NO. 2 PROJECT

Project Overview

The Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (District) is initiating a repair project on San Lorenzo Creek (Line B), a flood control channel originally construction in 1962 by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Routine maintenance inspections identified structural damage, including cracked and deteriorated concrete channel side slopes behind 1657 Via Hermana and wall joint gaps behind 996 Kramer Street.  To prevent further deterioration and extend the lifespan of this critical infrastructure, the District will repair the damaged sections. This project will reinforce the integrity of San Lorenzo Creek, ensuring continued flood protection and infrastructure resilience.
