The Installation of a Full Trash Capture Device on
Redwood Road just north of Lessley Avenue
Project Overview
The Full Trash Capture Project on Redwood Road contributes to compliance with the Regional Water Quality Control Board’s Municipal Regional Stormwater National Pollution Discharge Elimination System Permit mandate for Trash Load Reduction in the County’s high and medium trash generation rate areas. The project involves installation of a large full trash capture device in-line with the storm drain system below Redwood Road.
To safely construct the proposed improvements, northbound Redwood Road traffic approaching the project location will be reduced to one single lane for the duration of construction. Southbound Redwood Road traffic will not be affected.
While the County continually strives to minimize construction impacts to adjacent neighborhoods, we also recognize the likelihood of increased noise levels and traffic delays during construction operations due to the need for specialized heavy construction machinery and equipment. The construction operations will comply with Cal-OSHA requirements and local noise ordinances.
The County would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and patience during construction of this vital improvement project.
