Project Overview
The Maubert Avenue and Tanger Avenue Sidewalk Improvement Project is located along Maubert Avenue and Tanger Avenue between 159th Avenue and Liberty Street in the unincorporated area of Alameda County. The project addresses existing sidewalk gaps, deteriorated sidewalks, roadway drainage, accessibility deficiencies, and roadway safety while balancing neighborhood parking and utility constraints. The project supports the Alameda County Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan and advances the County’s 10X goal of Accessible Infrastructure and Vision 2036.
