Project Overview
The Alameda County Public Works Agency is pleased to announce the completion of the East 14th Street Corridor Improvement Project. The Project extends from 162nd Avenue to Interstate 238 in the Ashland community of Unincorporated Alameda County. The Project implements multimodal transportation improvements with enhanced safety features, including a protected bike lane, high visibility crosswalks and lighting, and traffic light technology. Funding for this project comes from several sources, including the Alameda County Public Works Agency, the Alameda County Transportation Commission, Bay Area Air Qualify Management District, Measure B/BB, the Vehicle Registration Fee, and other sources.
